About Kacin Companies
KACIN founder A. Richard Kacin has been building upscale residential homes, condominiums and communities in the Pittsburgh region since 1960.
Headquartered in the Pittsburgh suburb of Murrysville, KACIN also manages the design and construction of an array of commercial and industrial facilities throughout western Pennsylvania through our sister company, KACIN General Contractors.
We serve our clients to the best of our abilities, because we believe that strong relationships build strong communities. KACIN leadership has had the honor of serving as President of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and the Homebuilders Association of Westmoreland County, and we continue to serve on the boards of other organizations and community groups throughout Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties.

A. Richard Kacin - President
A. Richard Kacin founded Kacin Companies in 1960 to provide custom residential and commercial construction and renovation to the people of western Pennsylvania. A hands-on leader, Richard works alongside his team of construction experts to craft the highest quality commercial, industrial and residential projects with the best customer service. Under Richard's direction, KACIN Companies expanded its services to include environmentally-friendly design/build processes and LEED-certified design.
Winner of the 2011 Pennsylvania Commonwealth Award for building "a more perfect Pennsylvania," Richard is also winner of the 2012 Excellence in Design Award from James Hardie Building Products. In addition, Richard is Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders and past President of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. He serves on many community boards, including the East Suburban YMCA and local libraries.

Bruce J. Corna - Vice President
Bruce Corna began his career in finance with an emphasis on mortgage banking and new home lending solutions before joining KACIN Companies in 1977. Since then, he's focuses his expertise in custom home design and the development of some of Pittsburgh's most beloved residential communities.
Bruce's passion for construction follows him into the community where he volunteers his time and leadership to a number of regional industry organizations, serving as past president of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and the Builders Association of Westmoreland County, Life Director of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, Vice Chairman of the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Authority, and member of the Executive Committee of the Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland County.

Jeffrey D. Ferris - Vice President
Growing up in the construction industry, Jeff Ferris gained hands on experience on a variety of projects at KACIN Companies while he was a high school student and while attending college.
In 1979, upon graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Jeff began his career with KACIN in project management. Today, he directs the commercial construction design and development division, where he spends time estimating projects, budgeting and efficiently moving projects from conceptual stages through completion.

Jason C. Corna - Vice President / Residential Division
Jason began his career with KACIN Companies in his early teens, while on break from school. Learning not just from KACIN, but also from an array of subcontractors, Jason got an early education in all aspects of construction.
As Vice President / Residential Division for KACIN and the Managing Broker for Edgewater Realty, Jason leads the design, promotional, and marketing efforts for the residential side of KACIN Companies and all sales efforts for Edgewater Realty. Jason holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a degree in Real Estate Management and continues to passionately pursue continuing education courses in both real estate and construction. When he's not working, you'll find Jason volunteering his time and talents to local community groups.
