Bella Piatto Restaurant

A full-service Italian restaurant and lounge.

Peters Township, PA (Pittsburgh’s South Hills)

Project Scope:

• Constructed a 5,500 square-foot restaurant from the ground up, including a stone fireplace and a simulated terracotta roof.

The design and decor enable Bella Piatto's customers to enjoy fresh flavors, generous portions and good company in a traditional Italian setting. The restaurant is located at the intersection of McDowell Lane and Washington Road (U.S. Route 19), across from Donaldson's Crossroads.

Houses of Worship

KACIN has worked closely with religious institutions to meet the needs of expanding congregations. Our track record for completing projects on-time and on-budget, coupled with our design/build approach, make use ideally suited for this type of construction.

Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church

Newlonsburg, PA

Project Scope:

• Added 12,000 square feet of classrooms and a multipurpose room, increasing total square footage by one-third
• Created seamless integration of new and original structures
• Modified the building’s power lines & re-positioned utility poles

The site’s physical constraints and need to keep the building usable as renovations occurred made this project particularly challenging.

Christ’s Lutheran Church

Sardis, PA

Project Scope:

• Expanded sanctuary by 5,500 square feet without interruption to worship services
• Added laminated timber-framed roof system with wood decking and “brick sandwich” wall construction
• Installed sub-floor heating system
